I keep circling back to the tension between greatness as event and greatness as process. The cultural narrative sells us the event: the breakthrough, the viral moment, the overnight success. But the Feedback Loop of actual mastery runs on quieter fuel.
The math is almost boring in its clarity. If you improve 1% daily, you're 37 times better in a year. But here's what the compound interest metaphors miss: the marginal gains aren't linear—they're earned against resistance that adapts. Grit alone isn't enough; you need Habit Systems that make the repeatable sustainable.
